Overview

The Australia and New Zealand Respiratory Audit Program (ANZRAP) is a funded research initiative headquartered at Monash University, focused on improving the quality of respiratory care for patients with COPD and asthma across both countries. They came to us with no brand and no web presence — we built both from the ground up.

The challenge

Launching a new program with no brand and no platform

ANZRAP was a newly funded program with serious clinical and academic backing — led by Professor Natasha Smallwood at Monash University and Dr James Fingleton in New Zealand — but no identity and no way to present itself to the hospitals, clinicians, and researchers it needed to engage.

The platform needed to attract hospital participation, communicate the program's purpose clearly to a clinical audience, and support the ongoing work of the steering committee and working parties across two countries.

The outcome

A brand and platform ready for launch

We delivered a complete brand identity — logo, colour system, typography, and usage guidelines — alongside a professional website that clearly communicates the program's mission, governance structure, and how hospitals can participate.

The site launched ahead of the program's formal rollout and has been instrumental in establishing ANZRAP's credibility with clinical stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.

Our approach

How we worked

01 — Brand Identity

Building trust through design

In healthcare and research, credibility is everything. We developed a brand identity that communicates professionalism, authority, and approachability — appropriate for a clinical audience without feeling cold or inaccessible.

02 — Design

Clarity for a complex program

The program involves steering committees, working parties, hospital participation protocols, and ongoing research across two healthcare systems. The site needed to make all of that easy to understand for someone encountering ANZRAP for the first time.

03 — Build & Launch

Robust, secure, and easy to update

Built on a content management system that the team can update without technical support — news, research updates, working party information, and participation details can all be managed in-house as the program grows.
